Zaza Cuban Comfort Food is a delightful culinary haven nestled in Altamonte Springs, Florida, blending traditional Cuban flavors with a modern dining experience. Patrons rave about the comforting authenticity of dishes like their flavorful empanadas, with both beef and chicken options winning hearts. The cheese pastry complemented with guava is a standout treat, often noted as a delightful welcome for travelers arriving in Orlando.
However, the experience isn’t solely defined by the food. Customers have expressed concerns over the shift to a new ordering kiosk, which has resulted in a less personal connection with the staff. While many appreciate the attentive service, the industrial feel has made some long for the warm, welcoming atmosphere of traditional dining. Notably, the presence of dedicated staff like Yurquemy adds a touch of Cuban hospitality that keeps diners returning.
Overall, Zaza Cuban Comfort Food serves up hearty dishes infused with love and tradition. Whether it's the amazing aioli sauce or the heartwarming service, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking to escape to Cuba through food.

Love Zaza, I'm there quite often. I just wish they wouldn't turn my sandwich into a freaking pancake...I wish they learned that pressed doesn't mean FLATTENED...!!!

I've Eaten at several Zazas Cuban restaurants and this is my 4th visit to this specific location. It seems over time that there losing the connection to their customers due to the new ordering kiosk they've implemented. And the food was adequate even though the "cafe con leche" we ordered this time was terrible and again the lack of connection to the staff makes the experience seem more like an industrial assembly line..hopefully, they go back to the traditional service style.

One of my Fav empanada places. I used to eat them and get their con Leche at the airport. That was my perfect welcome to Orlando. The beef and chicken empanadas are both great. The cheese pastry with guava are also good.

Not only great taste makes a restaurant a five star but most important a exelent service. Ive been here to eat many times and never go wrong. Yurquemy for me is the face of this Zaza. Ive been to Cuba many times and people makes you feel welcome with kindness, friendless and dedication, and thats exactly the service he always gives every time i visit the establishment. For a moment i was transported to Cuba with the great food, exelent music and there hospitable people. Resuming, after a long day of work if youre hungry for great tasting food and and a place that they will make you feel at home, visit this establishment.

Update: I have continued to visit Zaza in Altamonte Springs and enjoying the delicious Cuban food. My favorite "Pan con Bistec". I want to give a shout-out to Maria! She is always very pleasant and welcoming. She makes the clients feel welcome and very appreciated. She also has a great sense of humor. She is truly an asset to Zaza. I highly recommend visiting this place is haven't yet!! First time at Zaza Cuban Comfort Food. Maria greeted us with a smile, she was very friendly and show us the menu and the lunch options. This time we tried 3 different sandwiches, Medianoche, Pan con Bistec and Cuban Sandwich. They all come with French fries. It is very hard to say which sandwich was the best. I guest it all depends on your cravings or taste. The Medianoche was the winner for me. It's by far the best medianoche sandwich I have ever tried. Just plain mouth watering and delicious!! You have to try it!! For sure I will be back to try some of the other items in the menu. They have homemade Cuban pastries too. So, stop by Zaza Cuban Comfort Food for some delicious Cuban meal.

OMG That was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Definitely worth driving for. The bread was perfect. Reminded me of a soft biscuit with a bit of crunch on the outside and the scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy.

First time to try “Cuban Fast Food”.... Delicious. Shredded Beef w/ onions. Black beans and rice... and fried plantains. We also had the breakfast platter special.... w/ a side of vegetables. Strange combo huh... well, it’s worth it. If you want to try something quick easy and relatively cheap, you will not be disappointed. The staff was very attentive and even brought the food to your table. I think I’ll be going back before we get back to Houston... to try the Cuban sandwich and fries.
